However since they are being produced in Mexico the quality is gone. A size 8 (which i have 7 pairs of size 8 that have always fit) is now about a 7-7.5 and much too narrow. I had to return them. I can no longer depend on the quality or the size so I will no longer purchase Frye
Gorgeous boots! I’m 8.5-9, usually a 9 in boots but I sized down to 8.5 because of how big the heel was in the 9.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these boots! I have a pair of Melissa Button boots from 20 years ago, and I was so ecstatic that tall boots are back! First, the color is gorgeous! The blue patinas after wearing, but they’re still beautiful. I went up half a size for my wide foot. They still dig into my foot a little, but they need more wear. Nevertheless, I love them and recommend them!

I was so excited to get these boots! They are gorgeous in person. However after reading sooo many reviews on the sizing (I'm usually between an 8-8. 5) I ordered the 8. They were very snug - tight on my heels and just didn't fit how I'd hoped. I'm exchanging them for the 8. 5 for more comfort and know the leather will stretch a bit when worn a few times. I have a pair of Tecovas Annie's and got the 7. 5 in those so was hoping they'd be similar to that given the reviews of them being a bit big. So - just know they fit different on everyone! If you can can, order 2 different sizes to try and compare if you don't have a store near you like me.
I've been enjoying Frye boots lately because they fit my slim calves pretty well. There's definitely room for other size calves, but I like that these do not drown out my legs. The new Navy color is so pretty! It's a great neutral. These are not 10/10 for comfort, maybe 8/10. I will try to put in thin inserts. I am a 6. 5-7, I wear a 7 in Frye. I've got a bit of room, just a little. These are extremely beautiful and well made.
