I had ordered a cheaper version from a different store, thinking all the hype about these Onsen towels couldn't be true - but it is! They dry quickly, there's no weird smell, and I love the way they feel. I'm very happy I bought these.
These are my favorite towels ever. I like the feel of the waffle-weave, a bit of exfoliation. They also do not produce “fuzz,” even when new.
Just used the Onsen towel for the first time, and it seems very and not as heavy as the other towels so it dries fasteer.
This is my second order of Onsen towels, my previous one is a year old. I really like the size of them, slightly larger than usual but not huge. What I like the most though is how fast they dry and how well they absorb, and how light they are. I personally like the fact that they're different than traditional towels.
