Bissell SurfaceSense Lift-Off Vacuum

I just recently purchased this vacuum. I have nothing but disgustingly good things to say about this vacuum. Over the years I have been through dyson, shark, kobalt, and other name brand vacuums and I’m telling you NOTHING compares to this. We have a homestead. We have 5 goats, 5 dogs (3 inside 2 live stock who sometimes come inside) , chickens, 4 inside outside cats, I have a blue collar husband, and two kids under two. I am always CLEANING. I finally went down the rabbit hole of bissell and chose this. I used my old vacuum first to vacuum up the one carpet we have and then used this vacuum to see what would come up. I emptied the bissell THREE TIMES it literally changed the color of my carpet and I was both impressed and disgusted. Now you might think wow you don’t clean a lot? Wrong I vacuum literally 4-5 times a day, mop several times a week, wash my floor boards every couple weeks etc…. I’m crazy. I refuse to be in a stinky messy home even though my children and dogs are like tornados. I cannot speak for the durability or how long it is going to last but honestly I will never buy another vacuum again. Bissell all the way they have my heart for good. The stick attachment has its own LED light, and the mini vacuum attachment could probably suck up one of my cats. The mini vacuum attachment also fluffed up the back of my couch again and made my cat tower look brand new!! The vacuum itself is a little heavy but I’ve been used to stick vacuums. Honestly when you’re using it it is really light and glides practically no resistance. When I used the stick attachment for my floor boards I’m pretty sure it sucked off some paint too but I didn’t care! It was so strong and got the hair off with ease!!!!!!!! The spider in the corner was no match for this vacuum. Being able to detach the main part too was really convenient for vacuuming out the vents from my air filters. I am excited to use this every day until I die or the vacuum dies honestly whatever comes first. Bissell if I could give you 10 stars I would!

I owned a previous version of this vacuum which I truly loved then. In haste, we purchased a different BIssell, while good just not for what we needed. Went back and purchased this particular vacuum and LOVE LOVE LOVE IT even more than before. It's so smooth and quieter than ever before. The ability to keep up with 3 labs! 90lbs, 80lbs, and 75lbs. The light is great as it shows the dirt and hair that needs to be picked up and then POOF it's gone! While I never used it before, I am truly realizing the little gem of the small brush and crevice tool with a light! Game changer on the baseboards. It's feels overall lighter, smoother, and quieter. Highly recommend. I've had Dysons and other Bissell vacuums - this one is my favorite by far.

Vacuum works well, about the same as my cheaper powerforce helix. The Surfacesense is very bulky, and the wheels squeak pretty loud within the first week. Also the cord is too short in length, I’m having to constantly unplug it and move to a different outlet. Also I don’t like that you can’t adjust the suspension like the powerforce. I feel like a lot of dirt and debris is left in the carpet because it can’t get low enough. Overall, I do not like it and will probably return it.

I do NOT recommend this vacuum. The hose broke a couple years in. Luckily, warranty was still active and was able to replace it for free. A year later the hose broke at the base again. I don't even use the attachments often so it't not like I am excessively pulling on the hose. Second Bissell and neither lasted 3 years. In general would not recommend this brand.

the cord is way too short for the monwy involved why did you cheat on cord length?

This vacuum does everything i need ! Rugs, carpet, hardwood all automatic! Changes with each surface. Easy empty cup also. And accessory tools.l love it

Ordered this vacuum after our last one broke. It got our carpet and rugs cleaner than we've been able to in a long time. We have a dog with a double coat, and this did a great job pulling up fur out of the carpet and hardwood floor. Very impressed with the suction, filtration, and ability for it to get into tight corners. Would recommend for anyone with pets needing a new vacuum!

Within ine week the roller brush stopped working. I had to take it apart and clean out the roller and put it back together. I never had this problem with my Dyson. I only bought this because i had a $60 credit to Bissell because of a recall with a different Bissell product.

I thought I was making a good choice when replacing my vacuum after we got a double coated dog. I spend more time clearing tangles and clogs than actually cleaning. It doesn’t keep its suction and basic crumbs remain. It’s terrible. I spent more on this vacuum after extensive research. It’s too late to return it. Terrible mislead.

Absolutely love it!!! Way more power then my old Bissel vacuum! Took a minute to get used to the swivel head but once I figured it out I love it! I love that it has 2 filters and my husband said the room smelled better after I vacuumed! Very portable too!
