Dyson V12 Detect Slim Cordless Vacuum

I was just able to complete our main floor on one charge on the auto mode over vinyl flooring and two loose lay carpets. Happy so far but disappointed that I didn't receive the accessories that were to be included

I bought a reconditioned V12 from Dyson. It arrived nicely packed with all the expected accessories and very clean. Every feature works as expected. I'm very pleased

I wasted too much money on this cordless. I bought it because of the good Dyson name and I already own a corded one I've had for years that has been a real workhorse. But this cordless has poor suction unless you put it at the highest power level. At that level it has less than 7 minutes of power. The waste holding container is tiny and needs to be emptied after 2 uses. Very disappointed. I will hold on to the corded one I've owned since 2005.

I loved my old Dyson, but after 10 years (like an old fool) I replaced it with a less expensive popular model. It wasn't Dyson, big mistake. After a year and a 1/2 of complaining to myself, I bought my new Dyson V12. I will never make that mistake again! I have 2 cats and vacuum every other day. The Dyson suction is amazing, right up to the wall. I don't have to change tools or get a little broom and go along the edges, all hunched over. The Dyson has suction that no one has managed to copy. It is so light ( which I need) and easy to move, under and around things. I have never run out of battery time and use all the different settings and tools. Thank you for making my life easier. I have been waiting for the opportunity to share my share delight and enjoyment and thrill of the work this Dyson V2 does in my home. I previously had my first cordless vacuum, which I thought did a pretty good job except that I didn’t have the option of trading out the filters which became clogged with pet dander and other things so every time I used it it smelled horrible This Dyson cordless is beyond remarkable the first time I used it and turned on that little green light and saw what was left on my light colored plank floors. I screamed. As I went through the house, vacuuming my floors, I saw so much white cat hair, and and dust left from my other vacuum that all I could do is scream with joy this thing Is so easy to use I am 81 years old and my shoulders are not so wonderful anymore and this light weight Dyson does not leave me feeling exhausted after cleaning my house. I have found that I can get under my furniture more easily without having to move things and I get my entire house clean with one charge and more left over when I use it on the economical setting. If I run into something that’s difficult I turn it on the high speed and One of the best things to come from this investment and it was an investment for me is my health being able to thoroughly clean my home of pet dander and pet hair has made my life so much better because I’m healthier that may sound ridiculous but I’m very sensitive to lots of allergens and now I collect them in my Dyson walk out to the garage, Flip the collection can open and dump that stuff in the trash and it’s gone and my house smells so much better. In fact I had a problem for a long time. Noticing my house smelling old and just not pleasant when I walked in the door and I keep a well I thought I kept a clean house since using my Dyson. My house has lost that bad odor. My house is clean and I am so happy this is the best money I have ever spent. Thank you thank you Dyson.

The lighted attachment is excellent Bulky and heavy to use Other attachments have low suction Rintime is pretty short Bin is a little small

Bought less than month ago - very happy with the purchase. Much better than previous v8 we had for about 7-8 years… dust brush with laser aid just amazing!..

I have had a Dyson for many years and always loved it. I replaced my old one with the V12. What I love about it - lightweight, on switch you don’t have to hold on, the floor head with the green light to see the dust and dirt. Where it fails- the canister holds very little and when emptying, hair and debris get caught up near the filter and you have to fish it out with a long tool. I consider this a huge design flaw. Frankly I preferred my old V6.

Runtime no convenience for chores of big apartments.
