Absolutely perfect for gently warming my leftovers. I pack the interior receptacle the night before, place it in the refrigerator, and take it to work in the morning. I plug it in when I get to my desk. By lunchtime, I have a great lunch that tastes freshly cooked.

I've had every every different version of the crockpot wamer. Each one has had pros and cons and crockpot has improved upon it. -I love that the base is gone and they have a plug that detacts. -I miss the handle that went flush with the outside container. -The 1st one didn't have a vent hole and they improved that on the second model, but the lid would pop off once it got hot. This version has the vent on top and the lid and container slightly twist to preventing the top from popping off. The only problem is the metal heating element also twist inside the plastic outer shell after a while (my guess is the heat softs the metal bowl attached to the outer plastic just enough to loosen over time and what happens is) trying to get the lid off just starts to rotate around and a round and the tiny metal tab that gets to prevent the metal container from moving doesn't work since it not secure to the plastic outer shell. -speaking of the tiny little tab attached to the warmer; you need to line the metal containers hole with that very tiny hole. If that doesn't happen the the outer plastic lid will not close all the way, but it will close enough if you're not checking it and can dump your whole metal container of food out if your grabbing off the counter and may spill everything out if your clumbsy like me and drop it. -It's also really hard to see the tiny tab with my older eyes.
This is the perfect size
Purchased two as a wedding gift. The couple only now is unpacking as they were on a long honeymoon and also moved. One of them is broken in the box and it is already past the return window. Not purchasing from Macys again, need better return policies.
I used it for the first time to warm pasta and it worked great. It only took a hour to warm and I will use weekly since I don’t have a microwave at work.
I received this as a gift and was excited as it is a handy appliance. I used it twice to heat up soup, and once to serve a hot appetizer. Cleanup was easy bc you can pull out the food container. But when I went to use it today, it does not work- so disappointed!
I have only used this 4 times in 2 years and it will no longer turn on. I have did the reset of unplugging for 20-30 minutes and plugging back in and nothing. I even waited 24 hours and still nothing. This is ridiculous to only be able to use a handful of times. AndI keep it stored in the box when not in use so no rough handling.
I absolutely love this product. I can put my leftovers in this put the lid on and take it to work with out it spilling. The lid stays on tight. Then it heats my lunch up perfectly and even. It only takes 1 hour from fridge to heat up. It is also easy to clean. I have had it for about 4 months and use it atleast 3 times a week.
We were thinking ,as most of us here at the office have one, that you need to make it available for purchase the inter pot and lid the lid should be clear so you can make up extra meals and store them and you can just grab and go. other than that we love it.
I live the crockpot, but there are no replacement inner pots available. When I asked on their site about this, I got a reply with a link to a set of replacement part vendors and directions telling to me to just enter the model number. I went and found the model number and the. Did this at the various replacement part vendors. And there is no replacement liner. Why did you send me this email?!? So.... I agree with some others that the lid can be tricky. I loosen mine and also release the plug (pull it up) before heating, and also try to remove the inner lid before I take it out of the main unit. As others have found, don't use the swinging handle for leverage or it may break. It doesn't co.e with a lot of directions, so this is what I found works for me. If you leave the lid tight and the plug down, it will build pressure and pop. (Luckily my second lid was on but everyone in the office heard it). If you just pull the plug, it won't pop, but you'll never get the inner lid off. It's a very good item, but the design could def use tweaking and since they're obviously making inner pots, why not offer them for sale so if you're making 2 meals at work, you don't have to carry one in a different container and wash the liner between meals?!? That's just common sense. I'm not buying 2 main units, so you've lost out on income. Not sure how that's a great strategy.
