Lab Series Skincare for Men Daily Rescue Energizing Lightweight Lotion Moisturizer, 1.7 oz

Added this product to my normal routine in place of my old moisturizer. I felt a strong burn almost immediately. Tried again a different day and same results. Unfortunately, it's a no for me.

I like how lightweight it is and my face feels refreshed when using it. The package design is awkward. It is too tall to fit where I usually store face products, the pump is poorly designed and the lotion often sticks to the bottle making a mess. I also don't like knowing how close to running out I am. I don't think I'll buy this again.

I can't comprehend how a face product that burns when applying makes it out of the lab? I don't have hyper sensitive skin, I've used products my entire life, this product burns. Within 30 seconds of applying it causes burn and it's almost guaranteed from alcohol content being so high. A moisturizer that has alcohol is already not great then you add an amount so high it's instantly noticeable and irritating? Shameful really. Cheap cost cutting that actually damages skin. Tried a lot of this line because Estée Lauder, that's the only reason. They should cancel this entire line and start from scratch. Whopper of a failure. Very disappointed This and two other products went into the trash after I did personal testing and confirmed there is a massive amount of drying directly from using these products.

First, the wording for promotion of the Daily Rescue line is, "extend your youth capital." So, it's safe to assume that Lab Series is now regurgitating phrases and jargon from the boardroom to their skincare promotions. How ridiculous sounding! I wish they'd put as much effort into other things that are more relevant to their customers, but that's asking too much. First, it wasn't all that long ago that this legacy product of theirs was reformulated AND repackaged. As of 2024, it's been reformulated AGAIN, and the only way a dedicated/loyal customer would know this is if they pay VERY, VERY close attention to the small "NEW" next to the name. Keep in mind, the packaging is the same and the product name is the same, so it would be VERY easy to do a repurchase and not know they changed the product. To add even more insult to injury, Lab Series has no problem using all of the old reviews for the previous formulation for the new one. What SHOULD happen is all of the old reviews should be cleared and start from scratch after customers have tried and used the new formulation. For a company that puts so much effort into social justice issues, saving Mother Earth with so-called sustainability initiatives, blah, blah, blah, they simply have not, and will not, make reformulations very apparent or easy to sort out for their customers. Issues like this are so reminiscent of the terribly messy decisions and numerous reformulations of the shave cream product years ago. Lab Series has this avergence to clearly noting when a product has been reformulated. If they are soooo sure a product is being reformulated for the better, why not just own up to it? Instead, they put a small "NEW" next to the item title and leave the product name AND packaging the same, while simultaneously using the reviews from the old product with totally different ingredients. Total disappointment and definitely not something I consider fair, or even remotely close to my time or hard-earned money anymore.

I got my busband into skincare routine and now he is using all my skincare products. I am happy that he is taking good care of himself but at the same time I do not want to share my good expensive stuff. I received this complimentary from Labseries in exchange for my honest opinion. I gave this face lotion for him and he was just so thrilled to have his own skincare product. He told me that he liked  the adequate consistency of the cream and it felt so great on his face. It made his skin so hydrated and smooth without leaving greasy mark.

This face lotion has a very light and delicate texture. This lotion is quickly absorbed into the skin of the face and leaves the skin soft, silky and moisturized. The face looks smooth and well-groomed.
