as others have said, this is a rich, but not heavy cream. Its consistency though is quite unique. I’ve purchased other products that just don’t seem to have the level of hydration. They are much more watery. Interesting that they call it a menopausal cream…. I think it’s just great for skin as you get older
Great moisturizer and sunscreen all in one! Has SPF 15 and seems to work well for everyday outings. Not meant for a full day protection at the beach!!.

I find the Clarins Multi-Intensive Jour (and Nuit) formulas work well for my 57-year-old skin. They absorb fairly quickly and don't leave a greasy feel. And the scent is light. I wish they would make a formula for this age group that was designed for hotter climates (maybe more of a gel? I think there is one in the Clarins family, but it's meant for younger skin). But until they do, I will stick with this—it's the best I've found!
