As a man with long hair, beanies never stay on my head, so I prefer headbands. I've tried other headbands that were too tight, but this one is great to wear comfortably for long shifts. My only complaint is that there isn't enough coverage on the top, so I have to use a piece of scrap cloth to cover the top of my head (while leaving a hole for my manbun to hang out) and tuck the cloth under the sides of the headband.
Fits nice, not tight.
