Not bad
Works as expected but the push pedal has a massive dent in it. I would have asked for a replacement but I would rather purchase the stainless steel than black again.

The stainless steel liner rim grips the liner and keeps it hidden. An innovative liner pocket stores and dispenses liners from inside the can for a faster liner change. And with no inner bucket, there's more space for trash. Strong wide steel pedal is designed to last, and our patented lid shox technology ensures a smooth, silent close every time. The can's stainless steel surface is protected by an invisible fingerprint-resistant coating that is also infused with Agion, an EPA-registered microbial-resistant that inhibits the growth of bacteria, fungi, mold, and mildew brushed model only. Our Code M custom fit liner fits this can perfectly - no bunching or slipping for a cleaner trash experience. Liner refill packs store easily in this can's liner pocket.

Purchase 45L Step Can
This is our second purchase! The quality is exceptional… We tried cheaper versions but they are not worth your purchase. Simple human is 5 star!

Love it
Never had a trash can that I was so happy with before! Ticks off all the requirements! Very glad I bought it!

Sleek and quiet
I love how this trashcan doesn’t have to be away from the wall for the lid to fully open. Additionally it closes so quietly that I don’t have to worry about awakening anyone. As the only early riser in the house, the household greatly appreciates this.

Does what it needs to
Does what it needs to do. I don’t think I can ever own a different trashcan. The convenient way it holds the extra bags and the easy step hasn't been replicated to perfection like this one.

Kitchen Trash Can
I have used Simplehuman trash cans in my kithen for over 20 years. Old one was still in great shape but wanted a change and purchased a new one. Sturdy and reliable and clean.

Happy with new updates
I have not purchased a Simple Human trash can since their first year and, while I was happy back then, I really appreciate the updates such as the way a liner is now inserted and also the hidden holder for new liners.

Step Can
Simple Human really sticks to their warranty. A small pice broke on the lid after almost 3 years of use. They replaced to entire unit. I am very happy with the product.
