COOLA Mineral Stick Sun Protection Factor 50, 0.6 oz.

I gave this to my husband, as he is always on the hunt for a good mineral stick sunscreen he can wear while surfing. Even his favorite ones he's found in the past wore off very quickly and left his skin a bit burnt after hours surfing in Hawaii and California. This is his favorite one he's ever used- not only does his skin look the least red and the most protected after hours in the sun, but it also feels great on the skin and does not clog his oily acne prone skin. Well done COOLA!

I got this in a swag bag from a surfing contest. The stick is very dry...that's the only way I can explain how it feels. It certainly doesn't glide on like other face sticks. After one wave and ducking my face in the water, the product smeared off and ran into my eyes. My vision got blurry from that, and it was really hard to see the waves coming in. I won't be using this product ever again. I also looked at the EWG website, and this product was given a 6. For those new to EWG, that's not a good rating. You want like a 1 or 2.

This product falls apart when u use it chunks of sunblock coming out I got given this as a Christmas present and the expire date is in 2 months I used it on my face and legs and was only in the sun for about 30min and omg it's was so patchy I got sunburnt everywhere with these weird streaks and the bit that had slightly more sunscreen was lightly less burnt but still got burnt everywhere with terrible streaks would not suggest to buy ever unless ur prepared.

I have used Coola's chemical sunscreen lotion and I really love that one, with the exception that it can feel greasy and heavy, especially with reapplication. I wanted to make the swap to mineral sunscreen, but was hesitant because I keep a short beard/stubble, and mineral products tend to leave a white shadow in my facial hair even if it doesn't leave a white cast on bare skin. So far, this one doesn't seem to do that, and it's not as greasy feeling as the chemical sunscreen lotion. My only real complaints, I wish it came with more product, because I feel like I am going to go through this insanely quickly. Also, I did experience the stick breaking, though customer service was very quick to send out a replacement for me. So just be very mindful with recapping the product and treat it gently. Overall, I see myself repurchasing this even considering the cons, because a soft, lightweight mineral sunscreen that doesn't leave a cast is what this is for me, and that's what I was looking for.

As the title said the stick broke off the base on the first use which is okay so I continued using it (caustiously) to make sure it didn't fall out. But the other issue is the white cast which is expected because it's a mineral sunscreen but it didn't go away even after rubbing it in you can still see it.

Love the sunscreen stick. Goes on evenly. Its not sticky. It sure keeps my nose from not looking like Rudolph.

I have been a fan for over 15 years. I am unable to use all their products but the ones I use, I love! Where did the COOLA Mineral Face Organic Sunscreen Lotion Sheer Matte SPF 30 (tinted) go? Why is it not available? Once I change one thing then I have to change all the products because they all work together. So good bye Coola :(

I received the product complimentary to sample but my opinions are my own. The sunscreen stick is really compact and easy to travel with. The sunscreen is thick, nongreasy, and feels light on the skin. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it can be difficult to glide across the skin because it is a thick well made sunscreen. Other than that, I think this is perfect for a beach day or to throw in your purse for last minute outdoor activities.

I love how smooth and clear this sunblock stick application is on the face vs other brands I've used in the past. This is my go-to for outings where we will be getting a lot of sun. I need to buy another one bc my 12 yr old daughter has taken my captive. I received the product complimentary to sample but my opinions are my own.

I use this stick on my face while surfing. I apply, then gently smooth it out with my fingers, It stays on for the whole session. Mineral based and reef friendly.
