I have thought about buying some diamond stud earrings with screw backs, so I took a look at these and decided to order them. I had screw backs in the past that were painful to put on, but these are not like that. I discovered the best way to put them on is to screw the back on, then turn the earring into the backing rather than the other way around. The diamonds themselves are exceptional quality and while smaller, they are not a small as some similar earrings I have seen. They are clear and sparkle a lot. There is a crown of small diamonds at the base which is rare. They are from De Beers who have been around diamonds for a long time which further convinced me to buy them; they have a story on their work. I did not receive a certificate as the online description said I would receive. I plan to keep these earrings to use when I don't want to be concerned about losing them which is most of the time. I'm glad I plan to keep them!

I chose these earrings because my earlobes are very small and they would be just the right size. Unfortunately one of the screw back came off unbeknownst to me. Luckily I was home when I noticed and took the earring out. I would have been highly upset if I had lost it and I just purchased it. I am disappointed that the screw back came off and I screwed it on properly. Had to take it back to Macys to send it in for a new back. So now I am waiting to get my earrings back. This is the only reason I did not give 5 stars.
