Timex Men's Solar Tan Fabric Strap Watch 36 mm

I love it! It fits great and looks great. The illumination around the numbers is very dim when it glows but other than that it’s perfect.

I knew this 36mm might be too big for me and was prepared to pass it on to my husband if so but I love it! It’s very much a ladies watch also, very Ralph Lauren like or 1980’s Banana Republic or just good old fashioned Times Expedition. Beautiful in its color and simplicity, so glad I pre ordered it when I did.

So far so good, Changes for improvement - The stem sticks out further than any other watch I have had or seen. Pull the stem out to set the time and push it in, it is a situation waiting to happen, it can get caught on something due to it not tucking tight against the watch. The watch photo shows a watch with a stem that is tucked tight. But this watch I received the stem sticks out. The second thing is the watch strap this one has metal loops to tuck the end of the band in. Poor design, they protrude and also will snag on anything as well as getting caught on long sleeve shirts. Better is to have soft strap material like previous watches have. That way there is less bulk and no snag and no worn sleeves on your shirt. The solar aspect is great, if it does have longevity. And the basic size and watch face format are very functional.

So far so good. The watch seems to be working well. It is staying on time with my iPhone. I have not tested it water resistance yet. I’m assuming the solar power is working because the watch continues to operate. The band is about cheap looking. I’m fine with it now because I need the water resistance because I plan on swimming with this watch. I’ll probably look for an aftermarket band that looks and feels a bit more dignified in appearance

Watch is great, user manual is completely useless and irrelevant to this model. Rechargeable battery? Why aren’t you using a capacitor which would need next t no maintenance or replacement. My Citizen ecodrive has been keepimg time for 20 years.

The strap is very cheap both in feel and looks. A better strap would make the watch more appealing

Excellent watch, looks and feels great. Lightweight and the sapphire glass is a must have. The only downside is the strap color is a very light khaki type of tan, not the brown color in the photos, I knew this ahead of time and ordered a new strap for it but I say that to let anyone else know what to expect. If timex reads this you should make your 43mm field chronograph design a little smaller and give it sapphire glass, it would be a hit. I own that one as well but it’s a lot bulkier than this watch and I have to worry about scratching it.

Love the watch, not crazy about the strap. Too busy and bulky for such a slim watch. I’ll need to replace the strap.

non functional upon arrival. a disappointment from this company that used to sell quality wrist watches.

Great watch, now if it was a hand-wound movement I'd buy another! Solar is pretty convenient though.
