Taft Men's The Jack Boots

I like these boots. They’re stylish, comfortable, and have the distinctive design that made me a TAFT customer in the first place. Unfortunately, I bought this pair largely because TAFT has stopped making its new boots in men’s size 7, and I had a TAFT gift card that I wanted to be able to use. I would much rather have used it toward one of the new styles — several of which I love and would happily buy — but they now start at size 8. As a woman who wears a men’s 7 and strongly prefers the designs and silhouettes of TAFT’s boots, I’m extremely disappointed by this decision. I don’t understand why TAFT would eliminate a size that allowed women, smaller-footed men, and other customers outside the typical men’s size range to wear these designs. What has been particularly frustrating is the lack of response. I’ve emailed TAFT, sent a DM on Instagram, and commented publicly on an Instagram post explaining my concerns and asking them to reconsider. I haven’t received a response through any of those channels. So, while I’m happy with these boots, this will unfortunately be my last TAFT purchase unless size 7 returns. I genuinely want to remain a customer — TAFT is still advertising new boots to me that I would buy — but the company has made that impossible by no longer making my size. I hope TAFT listens to its longtime customers and brings size 7 back.

It's hard to find a good pair of black boots that stand out. These boots are THE pair you need to make a statement. I own several pairs of Jacks but this one is going to become a staple for year to come.

I work in sports and entertainment and usually get compliments on my shoes by ladies but this time I was surprised by how many men loved the boots. Not only is the fit correct but these go with my wardrobe nicely!
