Toasts even and love the lift feature. Great looking style.

Gave the toaster a trial run with a bagel. It toasted the bagel perfectly. However, as everyone has different opinions on how “toasty” to brown their bread, it will take some trial and error. For example, I tried the “bagel” button and found that setting is to brown one side only, so the user must determine what side of the bagel to toast. The construction of the toaster is ok, but doesn’t feel “substantial”. I know they are made with lighter weight materials, but it feels like the toaster will fall apart if too much force is used, e.g., they just don’t make them how they used to.

I have had this bottle toaster before and it worked very well. However, the unit I bought must’ve been a previous customer return. Had a scratch on it and a small downtown top, the bag was already opened, and the cord had already been unwound and plugged in. Needless to say, I was disappointed getting that kind of quality from Macy’s. I have returned it and another one is on the way.

Makes good medium browned toast when I want it, but after the first set of two toasted, I have to count another 30 seconds on the 2nd batch, and then hit cancel to get it where I want. Running another minute will burn it. I usually use the third and fourth dot settings for my family. Please note that it does say not to make pop tarts with this toaster. I wish I knew that before we bought it because it was the actual reason we bought a stand alone toaster. However we have tried it on the lowest setting and they came out fine. We didn’t put any broken or cracked pop tarts in. I think it would be a safety/cleaning issue if they break in there so we haven’t tried it since.

I bought this toaster last week, I wanted a chrome, 2 slice toaster. The price was right so I selected the Hamilton Beach toaster. It was delivered promptly and in good condition, my only complaint is it felt cheap. So much so I didn’t even plug it in. I was concerned that the cord was not bound and felt it may have possibly been returned already. Of course that is just a guess. I will continue to shop but in person, not online.

I opened box with toaster and off fell a little screw and one of the rubber pegs at bottom of toaster. Toaster appeared with small debris of dirt and like some oil on it. I think I received a used toaster. I will not keep it but I will return it.

I received a "used" item with parts missing and plastic pieces broken off and laying in the box it came in. Also, a shipping label that was crossed out and re-shipped to me.

A nice little toaster. That's a great job on waffles and bagels as well

Nice toaster with wide slots. I like the feature where it toasts the cut side of a bagel. The cut side gets toasted, but the back stays soft. Very nice feature. It's also light weight another bonus. The shipping took a while but anymore it seems like that's to be expected.

Came with a huge dent and it doesn't work!! I bought it online, can I return this at any store?
