I read the reviews before I purchased and I should have known better. One of the earrings has a clasp that will not stay closed so they are going back. The chips are small, which I did anticipate, but not very sparkly otherwise. Skip this one for sure.

I "grade hard," but I do love these (wearing them now). I'm petite so it's sometimes hard finding small scale jewelry. My one criticism is that the earwire itself is not very sturdy where it attaches to the back. I'm afraid that will break and may not be fixable. But it's a fault of lots of the "huggie" styles I'm afraid.

The size didn't matter to me. They are small, but this is the size I prefer. It's just that the needle is too thick. It hurt my ear. It was a struggle putting it on and taking it off.
