SL Fashions Petite Ombré Satin Gown

This dress was very pretty but had the most revolting smell. It was actually shocking. When I returned it, the sales person was even shocked by the disgusting smell.

I love the dress. It is long for me but I figured I’d have to have it shortened. The issue is it has a very strong odor. I had to remove it from my bedroom even after just a few minutes it had the whole room smelling. Would like to see if you have suggestions on dealing with the issue.

I was looking forward to receiving this dress I bought for my son's wedding. The color scheme for the groom's wedding party is dark green. When I received the dress I noticed the actual shade of green and the ombre effect are not what they look like on the online photos. The empire waist style, with the bodice cut just below the bust line, is not flattering. I wish it had some sort of elastic waist as it it very tight around the ribs, below the bust line. The dress also has a scratchy tulle underskirt, I guess to give it more body. I had ordered a petite size since I'm 5'1" but it is still too long even with high heels on. I'm returning it.

This dress fit perfectly and I am 5”4 148 pounds. I have lost a major amount of weight and sizing is hard among brands and even within the same brand. I ultimately decided this was a lot of dress for someone so short. It has a very full skirt and fitted bodice but I ended up selecting a slimmer silouette to show off my weight loss. After ordering it appeared in some more colors like blue and green which I would liked and reordered if I had the time to receive before a last minute event. I have never ordered a dress that would have not needed hemming or altering for a last minute event and had something else not worked would not heatitate to buy again.

The dress is beautiful and very comfortable. Unfortunately, the material has a bad smell. Trying to air it out for a few days, otherwise will have to return it. The manufacturer should be aware of this.

This is beautiful and comfortable and has pockets. But there was damage at the top of the skirt so I returned it.

Make sure you buy one that has not be stretched out on the hanger. The bottom half is heavier and the top is light and stretchy. Perfect if you are concerned about wrinkles, age spots, perspiration or windy weather. I’m going to have the netting that poofs out the dress removed.

I received so many compliments on this dress. It was extremely comfortable, classy looking, well made
