I bought this for my mother it has had a tremendous effect on her wellbeing and benefitted her longevity. Also, it is a way for her to supplement with cofactors as she is not very keen on taking additional supplements so the composition is great. The capsule size is on a larger side for convenient to use.
These smell quite disgusting, but it is bovine thyroid after all, so, what can one expect? easy to swallow, slight aftertaste if taken on an empty stomach.

This product really helped my mom feel better and live longer! It's great if you have a low thyroid - I noticed changes when I missed a dose. My wife’s TSH level went down from 6.7 to 4.8 with Solray capsules, so they seem to work well. I also felt way more energized and slept better at night after taking these along with adrenal caps and L-tyrosine. It's much better than synthetic thyroxine for me; feels like it's boosting my energy. Plus, I didn't lose weight when I stopped, showing how effective it is. The price is good considering the quality of ingredients, and I love that it doesn’t need extra supplements. Overall, a solid choice!
I used to take another thyroid product with raw thyroid but it is now discontinued. This was the only other supplement I could find with the raw thyroid ingredient. I use a number of Solaray products and feel they are good quality. The other ingredients in this product are also good. I haven't been taking them for long enough to know whether they are doing what I am looking for, but I will come back with an update once I have been taking it for a while. But I do believe you can trust Solaray products.
I took this daily for my under-active thyroid. It was too strong for me or maybe inconsistent? Anyway my number went to .01 which is too low. I went back to what I was previously doing and decided to try taking one of these per week as an add on. Waiting to get tested again. We’ll see.
We started our preteen son on this a year after he had a thyroglossal duct cyst removed and it seemed like he was dealing with low thyroid. Within a month, we saw improvement on all his symptoms. We chose this supplement because it didn't have a bunch of other stuff added to it. The price is reasonable as well!
