⚡️Excellent natural drink⚡️. Excellent taste with nutty notes. It is caffeine-free and does not cause insomnia or high blood pressure. It contains barley malt, chicory, rye. The best chicory. I really like coffee, but I try to limit it. Therefore, in the evenings I drink chicory. Or I mix it with instant coffee, add coconut milk. This is delicious!!! I definitely recommend it! I’ve had premium roasted chicory before and I would say this is more of a dark roast. Instead of a soft nutty taste it is more Smokey. Over roasted. Either I got a bad batch where someone forgot to clean the chicory or the company is using bad practice to sell the “1 lb” because in every cup I have sand. This is fine sand and must be from the dirt. I use 1 teaspoon in a fine stainless steel filter. I was also able to put a magnet to the grains and some got picked up. That means there’s also black sand(iron).

Great value, good for making tea (often consumed as a coffee substitute) and can help with lowering blood sugar levels and improving insulin sensitivity due to its rich inulin fiber content. We also use it as "food" for our home-made Lactobacillus reuteri "yogurt". Can smell the roasted flavor, good consistency in granules size

I’ve been a big fan of roasted chicory for years. I love that this one is organic and has no nasty ingredients! No caffeine! Plus you can use it daily without having to worry about your servings. Many health benefits just like having a cup of tea.

I bought this for my husband to try and he likes it a lot. We both do. It's got full body like coffee but without the caffeine. It's good alternative when you want something to drink in the evening. We also sometimes mix it with coffee. It can make the coffee go further.

I've been mixing Frontier Co-op Organic Roasted Chicory Root granules into my ground coffee for a while now, and I can't live without it! It adds a rich, smooth taste to my brewed coffee and gives me a nice boost of prebiotics at the same time. The granules mix perfectly and the large 16 oz bag lasts a long time. These robust consistent and flavourful Chicory granules are well used as a body and flavour enhancer for decaf coffee. A small amount adds back some body that decaf is lacking allowing a smoother and more enjoyable transition to decaf.

I bought this for adding this to the fresh coffee we grind. I experimented a bit in the amount to add to get a well rounded feel for the coffee. I never was able achieve that with this. I love the coffee bean I was using it with( Mayan bean, medium roast), so its not the coffee bean. I will not be buying it

Used this in my herbal coffee blend, and the quality is on point. The taste is delicious, and it gave my blend the herbal notes I wanted. The quality of herbs is always fantastic with Frontier. A great alternative if trying to limit caffeine and go for an herbal alternative. The quantity is large as well!
