Natural Astaxanthin, 150 Softgels

After watching Dr. Mercola on Dr. Oz's show, we decided to try it. My husband has had painful osteoarthritis of his right hand with red swollen knuckles for about 6 years. He took astaxanthin for 2 days and we were shocked to see the swelling disappear. It has also helped his knee tendonitis (from years of running) and climbing stairs is so easy now.

I suffer from bad eczema and my body is very sensitive to eating many different foods. Thought I'd give this product a try and it really does help with reducing inflammation significantly. If I do happen to eat the wrong thing now it seems my body is much more resilient and don't break out as severely. My eczema is much better off now.

My husband and I power walk 3 days a week and we include walking "the stairs" in Santa Monica. Years ago when I tried to tackle the stairs my legs hurt so bad for days after, I could not walk. I confess I bought it mostly because i read that if you take one of these and go in the sun you dont burn or get much affected by the UVA and UVB rays...since I live in the tropics and have melasma, I need all the help I can get to avoid the melasma worsening. Too soon to tell about the sun protection claims, as melasma takes a long time to disappear. Will report again later. HOWEVER, what a great antioxidant too, and AMAZING for your eye sight! I think it is responsible for the whites of my eyes being super white! If that is not a sign of youth and health, and dont know what it is!

Title says it all. My sense of strength is from observation that taking more than one daily causes me to feel bit off - very similar to sense I get from large doses of B vitamins. My eyes are subtly better after taking these for a few months, mostly long distance vision.

I take this product daily with a tsp of EVCO or EVOO twice a day(after breakfast & dinner) to maintain my brain + vision health as well as to reduce the discomforts on my aching knees. Beware of the side effects that I am experiencing PERSONALLY. Faster hair and nail growth. It also makes me feel energetic on most days...well....as if I have taken a dose of Viagra....and I could not stop laying my hands on my girlfriend since using this product late last year ! Eat a healthy diet + a little exercise + this prooduct will work like magic....gradually...of course ! Take note this product will only work EFFECTIVELY with a good oil and I am taking this with a good qualty Krill Oil with 1mg Astaxanthin build-in with my breakfast.

Reliable brand of Astaxanthin. Experts agree that taking more than 4mg is not necessary as won't be utilised, so agree with this doseage. Superb superfood for heart, joints, skin and eyes!! My skin improved out of sight after taking this supplement. I am 58 yrs old and everyone says I look like I am in my 40's.

Love this brand of Astaxanthin, it is very pure and a very helpful anti-inflammatory - rid me of my aching hip. Many experts believe it is the most potent Antioxidant on the planet. They also consider that any higher dose than 4mg is not going to be utilised so I agree with this dosage. It is also a potent free radical scavenger and I genuinely noticed a difference in my skin (looking much more youthful) within a couple of weeks. Astaxanthin is a powerful antioxidant with a high ORAC score. But at dosages as low as in supplements one may think that it is nothing, considering how a big cup of strong coffee has an ORAC score at least hundred times higher that a caplet of this. But while I was taking 3 caps of these daily I did see a noticeable UV protection, my skin just won't burn and tan like it usually does. So probably ORAC scores measured in tubes are not indicative of a substance action in a living human body.
