Thorne has the best quality. The ingredient is safe. The size of the pill is the typical vitamin d size. The dosage 1,000 is just right for someone who just needs so Vitamin D during the winter when the sun isn’t out and isn’t too deficient. Helps with immunity against colds and bone density. The package is good. The effect is great. There is no taste and the ingredients are good for absorption.

This dosage of Vitamin D is quite low. I don't know why the daily recommendations are so low. Some people have deficiency and/or have absorption problems due to lattitude and lack of sun exposure and thus 4000 to 5000 UI might be more adequate for them. The size of the capsules is small and the quality of the ingredients is high. Make sure you also use Vitamin K so calcium is redirected to the bones.
