Sprouting Jar, 1/2 Gallon

I tried to sprout same broccoli seeds in the jar and in without it (just in a wet piece of tissue), so in a jar when you wash the seeds, tender, tiny little roots of seeds are damaging easily and it won't sprout later. And this jar is tooo big. Maybe it is suitable for beans but not for tiny seeds like broccoli.

I’ve been using the NOW Foods Sprouting Jar to grow broccoli sprouts, and it has been a great experience overall. This jar is incredibly easy to use — just add seeds, rinse them with water, and let them sprout. The stainless steel mesh lid makes it easy to rinse and drain the seeds without any mess. The jar is spacious, allowing me to grow a generous amount of sprouts at once, which is perfect for making fresh salads. The sprouts grow quickly and are crisp and nutritious, making them a great addition to my meals. However, the biggest issue I’ve encountered is the lid. Once it starts to rust, it’s hard to know how to deal with it. Since it’s a sprouting jar meant for fresh, healthy sprouts, I’m hesitant to use a rusty lid. This has made me wonder if I should look for a replacement lid or another method to keep the lid dry after each use. If you’re careful to keep the lid dry, this jar is a great tool for sprouting at home. But I wish the lid were more rust-resistant or easier to replace.

The 1/2 gallon capacity and straight design won me over. Liked it so much I now have 6 all growing sprouts on my kitchen counter.

I have been using this jar for many years. I sprout green buckwheat seeds, mung beans and other grains in it. convenient size and capacity. high-quality glass and a stainless steel mesh lid that is fine enough to prevent beans from spilling out.

I have used this sprouting jar dozens of times to grow mung beans as well as Now Foods Zesty Sprouting Mix. There is nothing more refreshing than adding sprouts to my salad or just to eat out of the jar. The jar comes with great directions for use so that anyone could easily grow their own sprouts.

This sprouting jars it's a good addition for home use, I appreciate their simplicity, efficiency in producing fresh sprouts in 3-4 days, and ease of cleaning. I also like the wide mouth with screen lids for a better vent. I like the fact that they are big, the glass is not very thin.

Good quality and will work for what I need it for. Great for the price!

I like this convenient and big can to sprouts, very sufficient space and easy to sprouts healthy salads at home, other cans brought at other shops are too small compared to this one
