I was looking for a tart, fruity honey based on the manufacturer's website and ended up with this one, but I can even taste a bitterness like citrus peel. To put it simply, it's like candied lemon peel. If you like marmalade, you might like it. I'm not a fan of the bitterness of peels, so I won't be buying it again, but I'm impressed that it tastes like this with 100% honey. It comes in a plastic container, but it's convenient that you don't need a spoon to get it out.

Among the various blends from different origins, the description mentioned a medium-bodied, slightly spicy honey, so I decided to try it. I honestly dislike honeys that leave a sour or astringent aftertaste, even if they're cheap, and buckwheat honey, even if it's healthy. I also doubt the authenticity of honeys that are simply too sweet, but (since I didn't have high expectations) this one is delicious on its own. I don't detect any floral notes, but it has a rich, complex sweetness with no sourness or bitterness. For comparison, I bought another one from a different origin (something that isn't light or mild). It's so delicious that it would be a waste to mix it into cooking or drinks, so I'll enjoy it on its own.
