We tried like 4 brands of Alpha Lipoic Acid, but all of them gave us stomacal pain. I don't know why, maybe we have a sensitive gut. We surely have gastritis tho...
I have difficulty with the size. It is fat and swallowing hurts my throat. I wish it is slimmer for it to go down more easy. I enclose a photo. The R-ALA is the white softgel on the left while the middle is a standard coQ10 softgel.

I have been taking Micro Ingredients R-Alpha Lipoic Acid for approximately six months. I did not notice any relief during the first three months. However, after about three months, I began to experience noticeable relief. Since then, my feet and legs have felt much better, and I am now able to sleep comfortably at night. I am very happy with the improvement I have experienced.

Really like the R-ALA soft gels, they not only taste good (faint taste of coconut), but seem to be helping my diabetic neuropathy. Just wish I didn’t have to take 3 for the correct dose.
Quality ingredients, I really like the product. The only thing I don't like is that the capsules are huge. I ordinarily have no trouble swallowing pills or capsules, but these hard to swallow.
Tried this higher dosage for eye health. I was taking a lower dosage three times a day, but it appears to be no longer offered here. Probably too soon to tell, but my eyes feel about the same. So, it is a win.
