If you were wondering what the difference was compared to the red tins, these are smaller fish, you get 50% more but they are a far smaller size. Same flavor and good quality EVOO.
King Oscar has become my favourite brand of brisling sardines. They are always of the highest quality, beautifully presented, iridescent and braided in a perfect criss-cross pattern neatly inside the tin. The flesh is tender yet firm, the taste is mild and never overly fishy or smoky. Each fish in this gold coloured pack is very, very small (even for brisling), with each can purporting to contain anything between 22 to 38 tiny fish. They are the ideal size for making pretty canapés or for topping salads, pastas and pizzas. The extra virgin olive oil is of excellent quality too, not to be wasted and is best drizzled over your accompanying rice, soaked up with bread etc. I cannot recommend these canned sardines enough. So versatile and much healthier and tastier than canned tuna by a mile. Perfect for snack time or as an ingredient for full meals. An absolute must-have cupboard staple 👍💯

High quality ingredients. No fish smell, not too salty tasting, the texture is very nice and soft with a wonderful flavor. My toddler finds them the right size and eats them whole. Packaged well, it is wrapped in plastic. Great way for your toddler to have seafood. Would recommend eating straight from the can.

I bought this cos of great quality and ingredients. Every item from King Oscar is great, from esp the sardines, to the salmon and even the mackerel. There's no weird fishy or seafood smell, just flavour of the fresh ocean. Package is great, no leaks. I do wish a bigger size can was available cos I finish this so fast. :)

These contain top quality ingredients. The fish are small and the flesh is firm. Tastes better than all other sardines that I have tried. Use it for cooking or just eat straight out of the tin. Outstanding!
