For whatever reason the dark chocolate peanut gems are not available in stores around me and the single serve packages are hard to find anywhere. Much healthier than the alternative!

Tastes good with cleaner ingredients. You can tell by the colors as they are not as bright as other famous chocolate brands. Less sweet than regular candy Nice occasional treat or a snack for kids.

I like these better than M&M's they have a more natural chocolate flavor maybe with a little vanilla but you do not get very many in the bag.
I was expecting these to meet or beat M&Ms - I actually like my chocolate to be less sweet, but while this is less sweet, it's also... not great chocolate. The packaging is cute, the candy shells are a little more mottled in color but otherwise solid M&M knockoff, but I was really expecting meets-or-beats-M&M-innard-chocolate at this price point, even though it's fair trade chocolate, and this is not quite there. (maybe it's really expensive to make M&Ms at a small scale? but it's such a missed opportunity!)
So, the pluses: fair trade chocolate (hooray!) and lower sugar (helpful for some people). On the minus side, the chocolate is not actually more chocolatey - less, I think, actually - than name-brand, and for the price I was frankly expecting it to beat M&Ms hollow! As it was, the candy was... sort of okay, I guess, but not anything that's going to convince most people that this is a good match for M&Ms, much less an upgrade. (and this is the perspective of someone who generally *prefers* the taste of lower-sugar things - I don't know how they missed!) The peanuts inside were good, however, and the packaging was cute.
I really like this product. The quality is excellent, and it feels like iHerb always chooses reliable and well-made items. I get these an alternative to the popular brand and my kids love them, they are sweet, crunchy and creamy. Wish there was more in the bag for the price but they are good!
I love these m&m alternatives. They’re darker chocolate than regular m&m but much better quality and really hit the spot when I have a sweet tooth craving.
