Ancient Clay Bar Soap, Bergamot Rose, 6 oz (170 g)

On the surface, this may look like just another soap bar, but it is NOT! It is downright packed with soothing clay and minerals that you can feel when you use it. The texture is very finely milled, but the clay adds a very pleasant bit of fine buffing. It is a mild soap that is safe to use on all parts of the body, and doesn’t burn or sting whatsoever. The bergamot rose scent is so delightful I would buy a perfume of it to smell like this all day.

This is a reminder to people like me that it is a soap and not a fragrance oil. Cons: Soap bar itself smells wonderful but on the body you cant really smell the rose scent. More earthy undertones from the clay I guess. Local rose soap smells better to be honest. Pros: Lathers easily, only need to use a bit so soap bar lasts long. Feel squeeky clean afterwards and fresh without drying (i have normal skin) Sustainable packing and ingredients. Sum up: Smell is personally too subtle to notice. Though maybe its unrealistic for the scent to last long on skin. Nonetheless, great soap bar. Does its job of cleaning.

I USE MANY VARIETIES OF SOAP BUT NEVER BOUGHT THIS ONE. THE AROMA IS LOVELY AND I WANTED A SOAP WITH CLAY FOR ALL OF THE AMAZING BENEFITS. IT HAS TURNED OUT TO BE A WIN-WIN IN ALL CATEGORIES! THERE HAS BEEN NO SENSITIVITY ISSUES AND I USE IT ON ALL BODY PARTS.

Good ingredients and quality. Smells so lovely, deep rose. I bought as a gift and now I need one for myself too, gift receiver also loved the scent. Good size bar as well. Seems like a gentle soap that will work well for sensitive skin.

the bar is hefty! it will last a long time even with daily shower use. I love the scent, it isn't too overwhelming (as rose can sometimes be) good lather and the richness can't be beat

Simple ingredients that are not harsh on your body. Soap is very pleasant smelling and lathers very easily. Did not have any plastic packaging which is a huge plus. Good size and good value. Can make one bar last about 2-3 months. Smells faintly like rose. Scent lingers in the air for a while after use.

This product is genuinely great, it has a good size that lasts, a pleasant scent that's not overpowering, it's gentle on the skin with no irritation or allergic reactions, and the packaging makes it easy to store and carry around

I’ve been using this product for a while now and overall, I’m quite satisfied with it. The build quality is solid, the design is user-friendly, and it performs as expected.

Have not used it as soap yet, and do not intend to. I bought this soap to cover wood stain odor in a new dresser and to make my clothes smell nice, and it certainly does that. It's quite potent smelling, and I find the scent pleasant. My nose thinks that wine, olives, and some rose scents share a certain fragrance note, and for me this rose soap has that note, which I quite enjoy.
