1 capsule contains 470 mg of butcher’s broom root. Butcher's broom supports blood vessel tone & promote healthy circulation. This plant has fatty acids, sterols & phenolic compounds that help promote healthy circulation, especially to the legs & lower extremities. It can also help improve cellulite & stretch marks. But as with taking any plant-based product, don't expect to see instant results. This supplement is one of those that take a long way from the intake's beginning to visible results. This formula comes in a generous size, with 1 pill taken daily I noticed a difference in how my legs feel at the end of the day. I'm taking this for leg cramps that bothered me overnight, along with Horse Chestnut. After a couple weeks or so I stopped having them. I don't think it was coincidence. I don't know if this alone would be helpful. If it also helps my vein health or makes varicose veins less visible, that will be a big bonus. I've never been disappointed with a Swanson product. I have yet to ever been able to peel off one of this type bottle seal. You can see how I poke it in the middle and tear outward. It's a medium sized capsule with no taste.
