Grass-Fed Beef Spleen, 180 Vegetable Capsules (500 mg per Capsule)

To be honest, offal can be tough for me to eat. Growing up in a agricultural area, I can cook it and I can make it tasty but only with adding a lot of fat, onions and other stuff that kinda negates the idea of using it in your diet as good food choices. And this supplement is just food. Dehydrated bovine spleen sealed in easy to swallow capsules. I do not get any burps or weird tastes. Spleen is about 88% iron rich protein and the rest is beef fat. If you are trying to add iron, B12 and zinc into your diet, these are a great option. No weird binders or fillers either.

This is a really good brand, and this supplement is an impressive source of iron. It doesn’t cause constipation like other iron supplements, which is a big plus. However, it didn’t work for me because the root of my issue was an H. pylori infection that was affecting absorption. Also, it’s good to know that the smell (and slightly the taste) is quite strong.

I used this along with other iron supplements and it helped get my ferritin up. I took it on the days when I wasn't taking the liposomal iron, so every 2 days. I also had orange juice each time I took it, to improve absorption and I avoided calcium rich foods or caffeine around the time of the day I took it. The only downside is that is quite expensive. When I stopped taking it my ferritin went down a bit, so it definitely has a significant impact.

I always do my research on products and the companies selling them. I’ve been using two other products from this brand. I’ve found their products to be worthy in quality. Spleen is just the ingredient I was looking for and was pleased to see Codeage offers it. It’s clean and high quality. The capsule size is smaller and easy to take.

Will continue to buy again. I like that I don’t have to take too many and that I have enough for it to last a while unlike other brands. I got this because of the ingredients and it helps with iron levels. I’m still waiting on my doctor’s appointment.

I have been taking this for a couple of weeks and I have noticed I have more energy. I feel like this is a high quality product and its made in the US.

The best thing I can say about it is that it doesn’t have liver in it and is pure spleen. I can’t verify as with just about all supplements if it’s really spleen but if it is then it’s a good product since most people never eat spleen even if they eat organs.

Quality ingredients to get great benefits for your iron deficiency. Size of the package is convenient even at a higher dosage. Taste is awful though. You need to swallow this fast because it literally smells and taste like dog food. It fixed my deficiency really quickly. So it’s ver much worth it I would say

Honestly have been in moltfer for 5 years straight and get iron infusion every 3months and NOTHING has made a difference untill I had these They taste horrible but the benefits is worth every thought process not to gag !!!
