Mi initial review was 5 starts, but after trying it more times I found that the flavor of the pepper is way too strong and overpowers all the other flavors, it doesn’t really taste like chai, it tastes like spicy pepper. Strong flavor taste of turmeric. I like to blend it with milk for a good morning latte. Cold or hot. I love there is no sugar in the ingredients. Very satisfied with the quality of the product and the packaging. I can feel some benefits in my digestion when I drink it.
Terra Origin's Turmeric Blend Chai is my go-to. I love the benefits of turmeric. The taste? Not so much. This chai is the exception. The subtlety of the turmeric is a key for me. This stuff is potent! when I am spooning it into the water it often makes me cough 😅 I like it hot with an alternative plant milk mixed in. if you want to get a little fancy, you could mix it with some cocoa and sugar. It definitely has a bite!
I love Terra Origin and use several of their products. This one was a bit of a guilty pleasure, since I can make a chai blend on my own. But it's organic quality, easy to use and was delivered quickly. I have only started using it, so I don't notice any changes, but it makes a nice turmeric latte. To increase the 'chai' flavor, which is definitely overpowered by the turmeric and pepper, I add a chai tea bag to the milk. I have also added cinnamon to the blend to help even it out a bit - it is VERY strong otherwise.
I ordered this product when another similar chai product was unavailable. This makes a lovely chai drink, especially when combined with a sweetener and milk—oat, almond, and coconut are my favorite. I enjoy it in the morning using hot water, sweetener and a little "milk," and sometimes add my favorite instant organic coffee to the drink for a "dirty chai." It's delicious. And I love the fact that it's organic. Be aware that the granules are very fine, sometimes causing me to cough. But that could just be me. Overall, a 5-star product.
I love the ingredients and that they are organic, but man the taste is just not it. I know turmeric is strong to begin with, but this just burns my throat. I cannot comment on whether it helps with digestion, since I have only consumed it three times. But I’m sure with continued use one would see improvement and a reduction in inflammation. As such, I did not want to rate it less.
