Jamaican Black Castor Oil, Extreme Hydrating Shampoo, 10.1 fl oz (298 ml)

A great sulphate and paraben free, protein shampoo which from the very start appears to suit my natural, long, curly (type 3a/3c) medium porosity hair really well. I only recently started using the Sunny Isle Extra Dark Jamaican Black Castor Oil shampoo but from the very first time my hair felt more manageable and easy to comb. I am also using the Sunny Isle Extra Dark Jamaican Black Castor Oil Intensive Repair Mask: their synergistic work leaves my hear looking much healthier and shinier. I find that a lot of shampoos that have heavy perfumes and alcohol’s dry out my scalp, causing hair loss. I purchased this in hopes of hydrating my scalp during the winter months. I do have a sensitive scalp so we will see how well this product works overtime.

I purchased this shampoo for my son, who has very coarse and curly hair. He really liked it and noticed that it made his hair softer and more manageable. It provides good hydration without leaving a heavy residue, and it lathers nicely. The scent is pleasant and not overpowering. Overall, it works well for dry, thick, or curly hair and leaves it feeling healthier and moisturized.

This castor oil shampoo is an excellent quality. I used for the first time and my scalp and hair feels clean,soft and moisturized. The scent is so pleasant, but not overwhelming. The size of the package is sufficient. A little shampoo goes a long way it lathers instantly. I love this shampoo.

Gentle on the scalp. Perfect for the days you are just looking for a light wash and good moisturising. You might need to use more pumps than usual for the lather to cover the whole head but it feels very moisturising. If you are looking for a super clean effect, or have oily hair, it might not be the one for you. Came in perfect packaging, a good size for around 5-6 months if used alternatively with another striping shampoo.

I started using this shampoo the last couple months and I notice my hair feels healthier, softer, gentle, and I hope in time it'll help hair growth (my hair grows slow). I like the other Sunny Isle brand products so I'm pleased by this brand overall! The hair masque is fantastic as well.

Scent is okay, its just that this shampoo doesn’t work for my hair and scalp I had a rough strand type kinda hair that might be some residue will stick to it that leaves me my scalp gets itchy - gave it to my niece and she likes it on her fine hair
