I purchased this as soon as it was released and was super excited because I liked his medium palette and his blushes especially. This palette fell short for me. For reference I’m a light-medium in shade range. Somewhere between Armani Luminous Silk 4 and 5.3 (I mix them). The matte shades in this palette looked chalky on my eyelids and it felt almost like I was using my 5yr old’s play makeup. Idk if he has to do a tutorial on how to make this work on medium skin tones, I’m not really sure why I should even have to try to “ make it work” in 2026. Are chalky eyelids the new trend or something? There was truly nothing to add depth or dimension for me. I love his other products but this one fell short for me, especially as it’s a holiday palette. I thought it would be more universal. I gave two stars because the shimmers are nice. Nothing particularly amazing. I thought he missed an opportunity to provide “holiday shimmers” with more pizzazz. Like maybe an iridescent one would’ve been amazing. Idk something amplified for the season. I’ve really never had issues with products not being inclusive before but this really was a tough one for me.

This is a stunning palette. I am not being paid to review this and bought this myself and I can say, idk why people are hating on this. The matte formula is so easy to blend and the shimmers are absolutely beautiful
I’ve used a lot of eye shadows, and I own a few of his duo shimmers. The ones in this don’t feel like the others I have, they’re just sparkly no backing. And the fallout on this is insane. I put it on my eye and noticed it on my cheek and undereye an hour later
Truly the most beautiful no makeup/ dreamy palette to exist. It partners well with all the palettes I currently own which is a plus. The shimmer took me a second the understand, since the formula is different than his original duos. Once you get the hang of the application, it truly is a dream! Love it.
This is a very pretty little palette. The shadows blend well, although the mattes do have a substantial amount of kick-up, which I personally didn't mind. The shiny shadows are glitters, they are not a shimmer or pearlescent. So if you're looking for a wet scattered sparkles effect, these are perfect. HOWEVER, this is the Makeup by Mario Original Ethereal Eyes palette, just with 6 less shades, in lesser quality packaging. If you have that one already, you probably don't need this. If you have neither and want one, I'd go with the Mario, which is essentially a combo of this and another of the neutral 6 pan palettes PT has out now. I'd still recommend it, it's a good little palette... Just thought the comparison was worth pointing out.
I bought this palette and probably will be returning. The matte shades are very pale and even as a person with light skin, I was hoping they would have more depth. The shimmers are nice but not all that special. Overall this product isn’t that unique, and at this price point I don’t really recommend
im surprised with the bad reviews because not only are the shadows buttery and easy to use, every time I wear pallet I get compliments on it!
This is one of those palettes that looks more beautiful in the pan. The mattes completely disappeared and the shimmer shades spread glitter everywhere on my face. Not worth it.
this palette is stunning. i love the shimmers and the mattes act as a beautiful base. i will be using it a lot of holiday looks
This is my favorite palette! I love that theres a mix of mattes and shimmers. Its so wearable.
