Deep Drench Lightweight Moisturizer for Acne-Prone Skin

I've tried SO MANY moisturizers looking for my holy grail and thanks to banu's Deep Drench Moisturizer, I finally found it!! I've put all of my friends onto this product. I have really oily skin and this sits beautifully on its own and under makeup - doesn't make me extra shiny like other moisturizers do. Also keeps my skin hydrated for so long. I used to have to re-apply moisturizer halfway through the day but now I don't need to. Absolutely obsessed!

We are such big Banu fans, so I was really excited to try the Deep Drench Lightweight Moisturizer. It definitely did not disappoint. I love that it gives my skin the hydration it needs without feeling heavy, greasy, or like I have a thick layer of product sitting on my face. My skin feels soft, smooth, and moisturized after using it, and I really appreciate how lightweight it feels while still providing that deep hydration. It has quickly become an easy addition to my daily skincare routine. Banu has become one of those brands that I know I can count on, and this moisturizer is another product that makes it easy to see why. If you are looking for a lightweight moisturizer that still gives your skin plenty of hydration, I would definitely recommend giving the Deep Drench a try. Another Banu favorite in our house!

I really like it but I wish it was more hydrating. It layers well with hydrating serums but on its own I found it slightly lacking. It is lightweight and it doesn't leave any greasiness. I received this product as part of a promotion.

I've been in the beauty industry for over 20 years as a licensed cosmetologist, esthetician and professional makeup artist. Although I've always followed a pretty intense skincare routine prior to becoming a esthetician I was always one to use a moisturizer even as young as 10 I always used a moisturizer on my face after washing. I love the Banu Deep Drench Lightweight Moisturizers packaging first and foremost, as a esthetician one of my biggest pet peeves is moisturizers that come in just a typical jar because I know majority of people aren't using a spatula and the minute you stick your fingers in the product is contaminated and this is a huge issue for anyone fighting acne or breakouts, so the tube is absolutely great! This moisturizer is a great choice for anyone who suffers from breakouts or acne, it's not heavy at all nor does it feel greasy and it absorbs quickly. It wears well with makeup and doesnt cause pilling or separation. It does leave the skin feeling hydrated.. I received this in exchange for my honest review.

This review is long over due. I have worn this moisturizer daily since i received it in the mail (August 2026). It has now been over 2 months and it is well loved! As you can see in my images, it’s skinnnyyy. Application is super easy and hygienic with the pump. It is a very lightweight formula, feels almost like a serum or gel cream (kinda). It’s definitely not THICK so maybe not for you if you have really really dry skin. I know it says to use two or three pumps but I find 1 1/2 to be enough. It initially feels a little bit greasy but very quickly absorbs into my skin without feeling heavy or sticky. The smell… there’s technically no scent but it smells like other products that also claim no scent. I personally don’t think it’s bad and disappears once it absorbs into your skin. My skin feels bouncy, soft, and hydrated. The con is that it’s definitely on the pricey side 🥲. But it’s been two months since I’ve had it and I can tell I’ve got plenty of uses to go so maybe it’s not super horrible.

I really appreciate that this moisturizer has no scent at all. No added fragrance means nothing to irritate my skin, and it's a nice change from products that smell overpowering. The texture is super light, so it hydrates without ever feeling heavy or greasy. I use it as my daytime moisturizer, and it works great as a base layer under makeup. It absorbs quickly, sits well under foundation, and never feels thick or cakey on my skin. I'd happily purchase again.

I’ve been really liking the Banu Skin Deep Drench moisturizer! It feels super lightweight on my skin but still gives me enough hydration without leaving my face feeling greasy or heavy. I have acne-prone skin, so I’m always a little hesitant to try new moisturizers, but this one has been really easy to use and hasn’t made my skin feel congested. I especially like using it at night because my skin feels soft and hydrated when I wake up. Definitely a good everyday moisturizer if you want something hydrating without that thick, heavy feeling.

I received this as a gift and been using it for awhile now. I'm actually enjoying it so far. I'm very particular and picky with my moisturizer as a acne prone girlie pop. I don't like anything that feels too heavy or greasy, especially under makeup. But this one feels lightweight and still gives my skin the hydration it needs. It sinks nicely and leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturized without feeling sticky. I also love that it's made with acne-prone skin in mind, which is very important for me and something I try my best to look for every moisturizer. Definitely recommend this for everyday moisturizer
