TL;DR: (+)Good smell and taste. (-) No lasting shine. (-);Boring. (-) Poor formulation. (=) NOT worth your money 2/5 stars Firstly, the packaging is incredibly boring. I get the brand is going for that "simple straightforward skincare" thing but that's already been done to death by The Ordinary and Inkey list, and done better and more aesthetically by Rhode. Secondly, the formulation isn't anything special. The high shine finish, a major selling point for the product, doesn't last. I find the gloss dried down too quickly for my liking. Nights I'd go out with the balm alone or layered on top of my fav tint, I'd be reapplying the balm what felt like every 15-20 minutes. The formula also doesn't have any lasting effects. I was looking for something to help my chronically dry lips. I gave this product its fair chance and used it for a couple weeks. My lips felt as dry and un-hydrated while using it and after as they did before (tbf I'm still not drinking as much water as I should, so take that with a grain of salt.) Other than the shine, I didn't see any effects while using it, either. Still had lip lines (I'm 25, so not deep lines in the first place). Lips didn't look any plumper than usual (I have medium-plumpness lips in the first place). Thirdly, the price is absolutely not worth it. Usually, I'd recommend everyone try a product out for themselves because skin is incredibly individual. Not this time. At $22 for 15mL of LIP BALM, I don't think it's worth trying unless you're hearing amazing things about it. Lastly, I give the gloss one star because the smell and taste is probably the best among the lip balms I've tried. A lot of LIP balms work decently but I'm immediately turned off of it by the smell/taste (especially when it smells beeswaxy). A big plus, but doesn't balance out the big minusses. Overall, not worth it. Doesn't live up to the hype. Another boring influencer brand with a basic useless formula that isn't worth the money.

Not a giant fan of the texture but the worst part was the smell. It made my stomach turn, it was so strong. Who likes or wants that?!

Sticky. Color is pretty but i immediately took it off after two minutes because i felt like every piece of dust in the air was going to stick to my lips and it felt goopy and just gross.

I really like this lip balm. You only need a little and I think the people saying it’s too gloopy is because you are putting too much on. A little goes a long way! It is definitely more like a gloss than a balm but I love the color and my lips feel hydrated.

I bought this with my own money have no no opinion on the founder. I really love the color of this but the formula is super balmy and pigmented which together, don’t work the best. The color would settle into my lip lines. I also found that if I rubbed my lips together, the color would leave streaks across my lips. It’s a shame because I am obsessed with the color and haven’t seen any other lip products with the shade.

This is terrible. The shine lasted five minutes and it was so drying. I’ve never been bothered by a lip product before, but my lips were so dry after a full day of trying this. I returned it. I bought this with my own money and care zero about who owns the brand. Just my honest thoughts.

Loved the color and name but it pulled orange when on skin. Funny taste when licking lips. Smelled a little off. Had high hopes for this one.

Stringy and clumpy. This gathers in the corners of your mouth no matter what. Horrible scent. Honestly, spend the $ on either the Experiment or Eadem balms.
