Synths 2 Braid-It: Textured Straight Collagen Fiber Braiding Hair Extensions

I am very pleased with the quality of the hair! It smells nice, no chemical smell. It’s soft and the dark brown color matched my hair color exactly! It’s takes a little getting use to braiding wise, it sheds a bit but, so do a lot of other brands. I appreciate how healthy this hair is, it doesn’t break me out, I haven’t had any scalp irritation, it looks natural, I like the way it looks and that it’s not too heavy, and that I only need to flat iron the ends with a little heat to seal the rest of the braid for a nice finish it acts like natural hair. I bought three packs but I only needed 1 and a half for sh-medium (small/medium) box braids and I’m happy I can just wash and reuse the hair cause it’s a bit pricey but worth it!

i’ve never had synthetic hair feel so close to real hair. it’s so soft and light. feels like real hair and doesn’t tangle or rip my natural hair like competitors do. best pack hair i’ve ever used!

This braiding hair is amazing. Soft texture and doesn't itch my scalp the way Xpressions does. Worth the extra expense

Ruka hair is very soft and easy to braid, easy to style and good quality.

I love Ruka's braiding hair! I have a sensitive scalp, and regular braiding hair usually gives me a bad reaction. I'd given up on wearing extensions until I discovered Ruka. They're also reusable, which makes them even better value. I'll never use another brand of extensions again!

I used this for my braids and it was amazing quality. My braids lasted long, it didn’t irritate my scalp and it was easy for my hairstylist to manipulate. I LOVED IT!

Using these was the first time i didnt have an itchy scalp when i got braids done! No allergic reaction. Also so easy to brand with little to no shedding

I used 3 packs of the brown and 2 packs of the honey blonde. The color blend was gorgeous but there are a few caveats. 1. The amount of hair I had to buy. Typically I use three packs of Xpression for small waist length Knotless braids, but I needed five packs of Ruka to do medium waist length Knotless braids 2. Slow to dry. After finishing my braids, my hair was dipped in water to loosen them. A couple of hours after being dipped, the hair hasn’t fully dried yet. 3. Lastly, it feels a bit heavier than Xpression braiding hair even when dry. Don’t get me wrong with my criticism, I don’t hate the hair because it’s still too early for me to conclusively decide. The material is claimed to healthier for your natural hair, which was a good enough reason for me to give it a try since I’m on my hair care journey. I will return with feedback on the state of my natural hair after I take down my braids to determine if Ruka is worth it to me.

Hair didn't perform at all as I expected. It tangled within the first few days and does not feel particularly soft. I give it two stars because I assume it’s safer/healthier than regular braiding hair, but it leaves much to be desired performance wise. I will not be buying again.
