The Olaplex No.5 hydrating curl conditioner was a pleasant experience. It felt really creamy, and the scent ahh, the best way I can describe it is fresh and refreshed. I'd say this conditioner is lightweight, so it's great if you want a nice bounce in your curls. I did notice less frizz & dryness without it weighing my hair down. I have been using olaplex conditioner for years. It is the only conditioner i trust to use on my curls after a dip in the hot tub. But for years i have been wondering if the number 5 olaplex conditioner is perfect for my curly hair. now with the curl hydrating conditioner i dont need to wonder anymore. i know my hair is getting the necessary repairs after being exposed the chemicals in the hottub but without the extra weight that will hold down my curls. Nice formula
I was really excited to try the Olaplex Bond Shaper Hydrating Curl Conditioner. I have used many products from Olaplex but this is the first time using a curl conditioner. I like the smell a lot. Texture is really nice—looks thick but then spreads really nicely. It has a nice slip to it so if you brush or comb your hair in the shower you would be able to with this. My hair felt nice and hydrated after using it. When styling, I felt like my waves/curls seemed to clump a little better and it wasn’t so stringy. I will say I do not like the cap at all. I think it’s kind of hard to open in the shower especially with wet hands. Overall I really liked it and would repurchase.
