Sun Serum Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50 with 8-Hour Oil Control

Loved this product when I first got it... then I travelled with it. Never the same after that - became gritty and essentially unusable. This means the product has degraded (possibly from the air pressure in a plane) or the ingredients themselves. When sunscreens separate like this they are no longer protecting you from the sun rendering them useless. Because I was past the return window, I had to pitch it in the garbage. So disappointing.

I really liked this sunscreen when I first bought it. I wanted a higher SPF mineral sunscreen that didn’t leave a white cast and this was recommended to me by a sales associate. It doesn’t feel heavy on your face and does provide some oil control which was nice. However, I just bought a second bottle and it feels like there is sand or something gritty in it. The first bottle did not have this abrasive feel to it and went on very smooth so not sure what has changed but it’s not very pleasant. I’d say skip on this one until they get rid of the grit.

Does not have oil control it's actually kind of dewy, and slightly stings when i put it on. I did not breakout though. A lot thicker than I expected.

Love it BUT just know that it's not necessarily "oil control" (I literally don't know where they got that claim from, it's fabulous otherwise). I have oily skin and this applies as a bit tacky/sticky and doesn't exactly dry into a matte finish. On me, it's still quite shiny but I guess the kids these days might call it "dewy"? But yeah if you're into dewy T-zones with a healthy shine, this is your thing

This did not work for me. I was attracted to the oil-control aspect, but it left my skin feeling and looking and feeling sticky, and never fully dried. There was no coverage whatsoever. I knew it was just a skin tint, but it was more like no-tint.

The product feels a bit too dark and shiny for my liking. With my oily and very fair skin, even the light shade looks a little too dark and has a bit of an orange undertone. Plus, the shiny finish is quite strong. I really hope Ilia creates a clear, matte version someday. Until then, I think I'll hold off using it on my face.

I really wanted to love this - but the reviews saying it's gritty are accurate (it feels like rubbing sunscreen on your skin at the beach where sand got on your hands and its abrasive/uncomfortable). The shade is also kinda grey-beige and wasn't flattering for me. I unfortunately will be returning this one. Disappointing.

I do not have sensitive skin. This is the only product I have ever reacted to! I got horrible contact dermatitis after using for less than a week. I returned this immediately and will never recommend this to anyone.

Horrible, this product burn my skin, is definitely NOT CLEAN it claims to be, found out Im not the only one, lots of people are reporting this, unfortunately I can't get a refund, I will never buy anything from ILIA, unfortunately the customer service dont care, I sill love you Sephora.

Purchased this product a month ago and then decided to use it just couple days ago, as my current sunscreen was finished. I was excited about using this but turned out disappointing due to its Grainy structure. Feels like sand particles in it even after shaking it well. Couldn’t return or exchange it due to past 30 days policy. Even other customers were complaining the same thing when I searched online about it.
