I’ve been using Tom Ford fragrances for over 15 years and the never disappoint, Unfortunately this one has, the scent is almost nonexistent and it won’t last.
This perfume is light and citrusy with a hint of florals. It’s a really good daytime summery perfume. It wasn’t too overbearing or strong and I could smell it hours later on my skin. Some other reviews said it didn’t last a while, but I was driving in my car and wondering what that smell was and then I remembered it was me. This was one of the most unique scents I’ve ever tried. The first spray evokes the memory of squeezing an orange peel. It’s amazing how accurately they have managed to capture the same scent profile. As it dries down it develops into something more sophisticated and a little woody. It’s so close to the fragrance found in nature that’s it’s hard to believe they managed to bottle it. That being said, I can imagine it would quite polarising and you would either love it or hate it. It’s close to being a masculine scent than a feminine one. Longevity is definitely an issue and it doesn’t last more than an hour on my skin. Reapplying multiple times a day is the only way to make it last the full day. The price is quite high as with all Tom Ford scents and I definitely wish it was more affordable. I recommend trying a small sample before you commit to the full size.
