Rouge Dior On Stage Matte Lipstick

I just got this lipstick like 3 hours ago and I couldn’t wait to rave about how good this was. The colors were the usual colors, nothing new, BUT! The texture was FANTASTIC. Good job Dior. It was super buttery, soft and lightweight. Literally the first matte lipstick, or lipsticks in general, that had no weight. It dried down quickly and it was sooooo comfortable. I need more colors now. This was so good.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I love this lipstick a lot, it’s very small and simple, yet a lot of lipstick down the way. For sure can last years! The shade of this lipstick is so natural, has a tint of brown orange and stick got that natural in there I LOVE.. and it’s easy to apply very smooth and matted which I like a lot. Although it does dry fast which is nice but it can be too dry sometimes..besides the scent of this lipstick is very nostalgic to me at the least and I would wear this everywhere, can’t wait to wear for fall season.

But, I do not think it was as long lasting as the name suggests. It lasted about 4-6 hours. It did feel a bit drying on my lips at hour 4. But it did not become crusty, I actually liked the look of it more, it was somewhat of an ombre faded effect

I gave it four out of five stars because I did feel like it was a little drying for my lips, but I do prefer more moisturizing lip products.

The formula is a soft matte that feels like a hybrid between satin/velvet and matte. The color is a gorgeous brick brown orange undertone color that is perfect for fall. If you hydrate the lips beforehand with a chapstick or vaseline/aquaphor this should set nicely and not settle in fine lines. Easy to apply! Very beautiful luxurious packaging & this lip matched with a perfect red undertone brown lipliner is profound lip combo! Great Formula, Long Lasting & Dior’s packaging is always A1! Super lightweight to carry in purse or makeup bag.
