Naked Shaped Cool-Toned Makeup Palette for Eyes & Face

★★★★★ Beautiful Cool-Toned All-in-One Palette — I Keep Reaching for It! I’ve been wanting a beautiful full-face palette with mostly cool-toned shades for a long time, so when Urban Decay released this palette, I was really excited to try it. The colours are beautiful and blend very nicely. There is a little fallout, but nothing that really bothers me. I also don’t mind the sliding top at all—in fact, I find it convenient and easy to use when I’m getting ready in a hurry. I would rather a brand leave out a mirror to help keep the price reasonable than sacrifice the quality of the makeup itself. My one disappointment is the staying power. Even when I use primer, I don’t find the colours last as well throughout the entire day as I had hoped. That does make me question the overall quality a little, especially considering what I expect from Urban Decay. But here’s the thing: I still keep reaching for this palette more than any of my others. I use it almost every day, I’m definitely keeping it, and I really love the convenience of having coordinating cool-toned shades for the whole face in one palette. Urban Decay, please make more cool-toned full-face palettes! There are many of us who appreciate cool tones AND the convenience of an all-in-one palette. This one is so close to being perfect—I’d just love to see even better longevity in the next one. 💕

Not loving this. And maybe having so many other good palettes on the market, this one is a let down. The pigment isn’t there. And it just doesn’t blend out.

This palette is such a disappointment. The pigments are weak, which I could excuse if they were at least smooth and blendable, which they are not. I haven't had a matte shadow look so patchy in many years, and the shimmers get glittery fallout everywhere! I have an $8 wet-n-wild shadow palette with better performance than this.

I have used and loved Urban Decay eyeshadows for over 20 years. I was first introduced to the products as a preteen. The reliability of the beautiful, deep pigments is the number one reason why I've kept using their products for years. I have purchased every palette they've released over the span that I've been a fan. I bought this palette expecting the same highly pigmented and long lasting eyeshadows I've always loved. THIS PALETTE IS A TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT. The powder shadows are barely visible and don't last more than a couple of hours (regardless if you apply with finger or brush). The cream shadow is greasy and again has barely any pigment. It wears off immediately. This current palette is a far cry from the gorgeous cream glitters they had released with the Stoned palette a few years back. It seems like UD has completely overhauled their products and it has been for the worst.

Love UD, expected more from this palette. Really wanted to love this but not pigmented enough especially shimmery colors, nothing special really :( probably will return

I love the colors in this palette and wanted to love it, but I am super disappointed with it overall. I feel like the colors are not super pigmented and don’t glide on as well as my In Bloom palette which has been my go-to for a couple of years now. I have used and loved the Naked palettes in the past, but the powder shades in this palette feel dry and chalky compared to other UD palettes I have used in the past. Those palettes felt luxurious from the formula of the shadows to the upscale packaging — this palette just feels cheap from the plastic case to the quality of the product. I tried the cream formulations and they creased instantly and are not easily layered with the corresponding powder shades. The shimmer shades had a ton of fallout and didn’t offer much pigment. I would have returned, but I got it on sale and will use a couple of shades to try to get some of my money’s worth. I would not recommend.

I am a huge fan of the Urban Decay Naked palettes so I had to grab this new Shaped Multi-Tasking Palette! I got the “cool” palette and after seeing the colors I was worried it would still be very warm, but when applied everything has a cooler tone. The color itself is great, very buildable and they all blend so well together. My favorites are the shimmery shadows, “Ice Drip” and “Pacific Breeze” (the two on the lower left), they make any of the matte color combos more festive! I didn’t use this on my face yet, just my eyes. The palette itself is very easy to open, and I like that it’s smooth so it won’t get dirty like the older style Naked palettes that had the velvet feel to them that just absorbed makeup. Great product! Will make a great holiday gift as well.

*I received this product for free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review.* I was so excited to receive this product as I love the concept of a cream & powder nude palette, and Naked palettes have been a staple for me for years. However, I’ve been disappointed with the palette each time I’ve used it. Although I like that the palette slides open, the packaging feels flimsy and cheap. The cream eyeshadows feel oily, and the powder shadows do not blend well at all. I used this palette for a wedding guest makeup look, and my eyeshadow creased before dinner! When you try to use both formulas together, like doing a cream eyeliner and setting it with the matching powder, the powder will catch on texture and result in a patchy finish that smudges easily. I’ve had this palette for months now and have only used it a few times as I’ve been so unimpressed. I will likely give it away as I don’t see myself reaching for it, and I think I’ll pick up one of the mini naked basics palettes in its place. I appreciate the opportunity to have tested this product, but I would not recommend it based on my experience.
