Do not have this shipped to you in warm weather. I ended up with an empty, oily box and cloth, and a clearly fully repackaged order. It does smell good. Super bummed, as it was part of my bday order. I saw another review where the same thing happened.
I did not get the chance to try the product because it arrived melted and was spilled all over the packaging of the other products I ordered. Only recommend to buy in store!
The entire bar completely melted in transit. It coated the box and all of my other items inside the box. Such a mess!

This is the best moisturizer I have ever used on my dry, sensitive skin. I love the application and feel as it absorbs into the skin and leaves behind a natural finish and beautiful scent, not sticky or greasy at all. However. After 6 uses, the bar is over halfway gone. I absolutely cannot justify the price of this and unfortunately will not repurchase or recommend for that reason
I found the Kate McLeod Body Stone through a NY Wirecutter recommendation and ended up loving it far more than expected. I warm it in my hands for a few seconds, then glide it over my body The texture is smooth, not greasy, and absorbs quickly Skin feels genuinely moisturized, soft, and comfortable The experience feels very spa‑like, especially after a shower I mostly use the unscented version because my skin prefers it, but I’ve tried a few scented stones and was pleasantly surprised — the fragrance is beautiful, subtle, and didn’t irritate my skin. The travel container is adorable and functional, and I still keep mine out at home. Loved it enough that I also bought the mini travel version, which is perfect for work or travel (I really dislike hotel lotions). If you like solid or stick skincare, this is absolutely worth trying.
I really wanted to love this but… I love the idea but the application isn’t smooth and easy. The lotion is great for dry skin but rather oily and just didn’t sink into my skin for the price. Felt very waxy. I love the idea of it but to $$$$
I can't believe I spent this much money on this thing, but it does smell and feel amazing. The little wooden box is pretty and has a little swing hinge on it to keep the lid attached. The bar itself is palm sized and it's not overly greasy (but it is still a lotion bar with oils so yes it's a little greasy). The little piece of linen is nice to protect the bar from dirt and hair and melting in your hand when using it. It would make a nice gift for someone who appreciates quality products. I considered a giving it 4 stars because I do still thing the price is insane, but decided to keep 5 stars for quality.
