Mini First Care Activating Serum for Anti-Aging

I’ve been using the Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Serum and it honestly feels so luxurious. The texture is lightweight and absorbs quickly, but still makes my skin feel instantly hydrated and smoother. I love using it as the first step in my routine because it helps everything else layer better without feeling heavy or sticky. After consistent use, my skin looks more glowy, balanced and refreshed. I also love that it feels gentle but still gives that anti-aging, skin-strengthening benefit over time. It’s definitely a splurge, but it makes my routine feel elevated and my skin feels healthier overall.

After using this serum consistently, I’ve seen a noticeable improvement in my skin’s texture and overall appearance. My skin feels smoother, more hydrated, and has a soft, healthy glow throughout the day. Fine lines look less noticeable, and my complexion appears more even and refreshed. The texture is slightly thicker than typical watery serums, yet it still absorbs quickly without leaving any sticky or greasy residue. It’s simple to use with a pump application and works well on its own or layered with other products. I also appreciate the light, subtle scent. Overall, it’s become an essential in my routine for keeping my skin nourished, balanced, and radiant at any age.

I have had the opportunity to try several Sulwhasoo products lately, which have quickly become favorites of my skin care routine, and this serum is absolutely no different. Now, I will admit, I use several serums in my morning routine, and I wasn't sure whether this would mesh well with those, or if it would need to become a standalone product. I have tried it both ways. What was pleasantly surprising is how well this worked both on it's own, as well as in combination with other products, and it is the perfect precursor to their moisturizer. As with their other products, you will find that pleasant and slightly crisp ginseng smell, which I personally find very spa like. But what I always love most about their products other than the obvious long term results is the ABSORBENCY and GLIDE. The truth is, your skin care can work amazing, and we all know that Sulwhasoo products do that - BUT! If your skincare doesn't set the foundation for your makeup application, it's very unlikely you will use it on a consistent enough basis to achieve results. I have noticed since I've started using their products that because I am able to use a little to go a long way, and it absorbs so well, and leaves such a nice finish/texture to the skin - that it has become the perfect prep for my makeup. My foundation has been going on absolutely flawlessly.... smooth, requiring less product, no pilling, no separation... We all know that skin prep is the most important step to getting great makeup application, and this is where these products really hit it out of the park for me. There is something about the consistency of their skin care that not only gives me the results I'm looking for, but gives me an amazing makeup application. I just love it. And for that reason I know I will be able to use it consistently rather than only saving it for non makeup days. Excellent serum. A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY!

Sulwasoo doesn't disappoint and they sure didn't with this serum. The texture is lightweight and kinda silky. It's not to thin its just right to me. It doesn't leave my skin sticky. It makes it feel really soft. It absorbs really well. I have dry skin and this helped so much. My skin feels hydrated and even looks smoother. I can tell that my skin has a more of a even tone. i will have to use it more before I can tell about the fine lines. The smell I don't think is that bad. You get use to it but other people might think differently.

The texture is lightweight and silky, almost like a thin essence. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave any stickiness behind, so it layers easily with the rest of my skincare. The herbal scent is definitely noticeable at first, but it absorbs quickly and I find it relaxing. My skin feels more hydrated, looks smoother, and seems to soak up moisturizers and serums better afterward. It didn't dramatically erase wrinkles or make my skin look ten years younger, but it gave me that healthy look that I can definitely feel.
