The result is amazing! This mask is perfect for extremely damaged hair. It instantly smoothed down the open cuticles and brought back softness. For the first time in a while, I could easily brush through my hair, and it didn't weigh my fine hair down at all. I’re sure that once my hair is restored, plumped, and alive again, I'll need to look for some lighter options, but right now, for this period of time — it’s a total lifesaver. After getting heat damage from a salon my hair was falling out and breaking off. I decide to use this mask once a week and it completely stopped the breakage and restored my curls! It’s rich so a little goes a long way. Now that my hair is healthier and longer I use it every 3-4 washes for a deeper condition. It’s better than the orange one if you have coarse, dry, or damaged hair.

To preface, I'm black, my hair is past my shoulders, thick, coily with a mix of coarse and fine strands. The product is thick, has a nice scent that is not overpowering and provides good hydration. There's not a ton of slip on my hair, but to be expected from a strengthening mask. I use it once a week and a moisturizing conditioner midweek, still going strong!

It really helps when my hair is dry or damaged, but if I use too much it can feel a bit heavy and weigh things down. Definitely more of a repair-focused mask than a volume one, but I like it when my hair needs extra care.
