I received a small packet sample from Sephora. After reading the reviews, I was hesitant to try this serum, but, I went ahead. My face felt wonderful. Weightless, non sticky serum. Love it!

My face is red and peeling for the past week. Nothing could calm it down until I used this for 2 nights. Extremely expensive but I would buy again.
Absolutely love this!!!! I can not bring myself to buy it for the $$ but I got a sample of it and I already see a difference in my skin! I wish it wasn't so expensive
I received a small sample with an order and read that it treated inflammation, so I first gave it a try after facial waxing. Within minutes, there were no signs of redness or irritation to be seen, when usually it's quite visible for at least an hour or two. The feel is very nice and soft, almost reminiscent of silicone products, but it absorbed quickly. A pleasant, natural smell, not overly fragranced like some high end brands can be. I can't speak for long term use, but I'm definitely impressed so far!
Pricey, but bot serum feels this great on my skin. It is absolutely unique and great. You just need a little tiny dot of so it lasts longer that you would think. I’m a fan!
I’m just not sold on this La Mer product. It does have a velvety smooth texture, but at the same time feels so much like silicone. It feels more like putting primer on the skin, which seems so wrong to do before putting on moisturizer. After using the entire bottle my thoughts are- Pros- tinted sunscreen went on so smoothly, seemed to help control oil a bit. Cons- the bottle with the little dispensing spatula made it hard to get all of the product out, I didn’t notice any noticeable skincare benefits from the product besides what was mentioned in the pros. Seems like you could get a much cheaper primer to have the same effect. I love the La Mer moisturizers and felt luxurious seeing a few La Mer products on my shelf, but I don’t think this product lives up to the name for the hefty price tag. Not a holy grail for me so I won’t repurchase.
The packaging is sooo silly for such a big price point, the applicator is too short to reach the product. Also the amount of product you have to use to get an even application across the face makes this a terrible value. Lastly, didn’t notice a difference in using it.
Silicone makes it feel unnatural, scent is too much. I like eucalyptus in floral arrangements — on my face, not so much. But I’m keeping it as an emergency burn treatment. Price very questionable.
La Mer The Concentrate is definitely a splurge, so I went into it with pretty high expectations. I’m 42 and have combination skin—my T-zone gets oily, but my cheeks can get dry and irritated, especially when I use too many actives. What I like most is that this feels silky and calming without being heavy. It goes on smoothly, almost like a primer, and it sits really well under makeup. After using it for a bit, my skin felt more comfortable and less reactive, especially in the drier areas. That said, I don’t think it’s a miracle product, and the price is hard to ignore. I didn’t wake up with completely transformed skin, but I did notice my face looked a little calmer and more balanced overall. It also didn’t make my oily areas worse, which is a big plus for me. I’d probably save this for times when my skin feels stressed or overworked rather than use it every single day. Overall, I’d give it 4 out of 5 stars. It’s expensive, but for my 42-year-old combination skin, it does a nice job making my skin feel smoother, calmer, and more comfortable without turning greasy. have dry skin and struggle with localized redness on my cheeks, and La Mer The Concentrate has been incredibly soothing and moisturizing; it feels so soft and velvety on my skin. Very soothing like a barrier that's comforting and cushions my skin perfectly against dryness.. It does have a strong eucalyptus scent but I did not experience any irritation. I can see a difference after using this serum: my face looks healthier, smoother, plumper, and has a healthy glow. A little goes a long way I am very satisfied that I found this serum that feels like I just left the spa. The new holy grail I highly recommended.
