Color Fanatic Heat Protectant Leave-In Conditioner

I didn’t want to like this product as much as I did because I do think that it’s overpriced. But I started using it about a year ago regularly in my routine mainly as a conditioner/heat protectant before I add in my products for my curly hair. It does make my hair feel and look more shiny and silky. I have tried drugstore dupes for this, and I haven’t found one that I like nearly as much. Not sure if it’s the best for frizzy hair because I use other products on top of it. I also don’t use the spray function as intended. I just spray it into my hands and then evenly distribute it throughout my wet hair, because I find if you just spray it directly onto your hair, it doesn’t disperse evenly and can make my hair look greasy in spots.

Confused about the negative reviews? Are people using this as their only styling product? Like no finishing oil or serum? It’s not an all in one, This is a detangler leave in and heat protectant from styling. This is not like a spray and go/air dry, you actually need to use heat after applying, and then follow with some type of serum or oil. With that said, I’m on my second bottle, have very long wavy hair but I don’t wanna weigh it down. It’s my first step after a wash, but after detangling I use another serum/glossy oil from either purology or kerastase. Then I always have shiny silky blowouts. If you need a more generalized low maintenance product, then get a heavier leave in silicone cream. This is very light weight, and won’t fit everyone’s needs.

I have seen this product over social media for years. And I just thought it was hype. i ended up buying the small travel sites and I absolutely loved it. it is extraordinarily lightweight. It detangles and add moisture back into the air. Without the weight. Its's great for days when I do K-18.

This is the best leave-in conditioner. I have been using it for 2 years after a hairdresser recommended it to me. It hydrates hair and protects it. Works really well if you frequently dye your hair.

Honestly I love this product! It is pricey but in my opinion totally worth it. I use it right after I finish showering and spray just enough in my hair to detangle it and i also use it to style my hair when doing a blow out or just using heat in my hair. It also leaves my hair smooth and soft

I’ve gone through about 7 bottles of this and would say that is it my holy grail hair product. I have long, thick hair that’s down to my back and go through a bottle about every 5 months. I notice a difference when I don’t use this. It helps get my tangles out and helps keeps some of my frizz at bay. When I first started using this my hair condition wasn’t good but I genuinely feel like this was one of the factors that made me like my hair again. I have wavy hair that does tend to get dry and is prone to frizz. I will use this immediately after the shower and brush through.

Love the product, makes my hair detangled easily and smooth and hydrated. After blow drying, leaves a glossy shine as well. Will definitely recommend it.
